The Annual Hooked on Fishing event took place this Saturday at Horseshoe Lake in Upper Bidwell Park. This event is always exciting as it offers kids a chance to experience fishing absolutely free of charge. The events gives our free fishing poles (if needed) to kids of all ages to try to catch catfish that was stocked in the lake. The event draws crowds in the upper hundreds. It is pretty easy to get some great shots, almost like fishing in a barrel.
