8FPS: How About 8 Stores Per Second

I know I shoot 8 frames per second, but how about 8 stories per second? OK, a little exaggeration. I did not shoot 8 stories, it was actually 7. And it wasn't in a second, but it was all in one day for my shift. So maybe 7 stories per shift is a better interpretation, but I had to collect the art from our city editor who shot three stories in Oroville. So that counts as 8 for me. And I was racing around it felt like I only had seconds to cover the events. This last Saturday was a busy day. I covered the Relay for Life, a scrabble tournament, Pioneer Day Parade, Artisan Faire, Shriner's BBQ, Endangered Species Faire, and a Chico State Baseball game. There was a lot of activity of tubers on Sacramento River, but I didn't get time to head out there. That would have indeed made it 8 stories. The joy of small towns is that they want a lot of local coverage. When the weather hits nice, everyone starts doing things. Here are the shots from Saturday. Remember, I went to each these stories all in one day.
