Late Night Stabbing Is Nothing New

After leaving a high school basketball game, I heard over the scanner reports of police detectives and trips to the hospital. As a journalist, that always peaks your ears. I was able to determine the address of where officers were located and decided to roll by to check out what the issue was. I was greeted with the news that a stabbing had occurred between two transients. While some might consider the issue not news, I still feel any time someone, whomever that might be, is stabbed, it is NEWS! You never know when localized violence will spill over and hurt some innocent bystander. We've been having quite a lot of stabbings recently, and not matter the intensity, it is not ok. Hopefully by photographing the scenes it will continue to bring awareness to the issue to cause some change.
